- Riley is depicted to have martial arts abilities, since Gina Carano is a former mixed martial artist in real life.
- The fightscene between Letty and Riley was depicted as: Riley her disciplined cop and martial arts style against Letty her raw streetfighting way of fighting.
- In the original fightscene with Letty, she was supposed to be punched unconscious while being held down in a mounted triangle choke. However the producers chanced this, since the tackle down the stairs would be more suitable to the pace of the fight scene.
