The Ford Mustang GT Tjaarda is first seen on the FBI database, when pulling up info on Braga's drivers. The Mustang is then seen after Braga's street race in Koreatown, where it is parked next to Dwight's Camaro Z28. When the drivers are called to Braga's warehouse, Malik is the first one to get there, and his Mustang is the first to be scanned for devices before being loaded on to a truck.
The Mustang is then used by Malik to smuggle heroin into the United States via a tunnel under the U.S-Mexico border. After successfully completing the tunnel run, the Mustang GT is destroyed when the car next to him explodes, destroying the Mustang as well as the Infiniti G35 next to him and Brian O'Conner's Nissan Skyline.
Production Notes[]
Malik's (Neil Brown, Jr.) ride is a Tjaarda custom job with a Saleen stage-2 supercharger on a 4.6 liter Ford V8, which makes 470hp (after being tuned down from 490). Other modifications include a custom pulley and pump in the water pump, high-flow cats, JBA exhaust pipes, Magnaflow mufflers, Ford Racing FR500 suspension, Baer Extreme 14" disc brakes, and 20" GT Legends Gun Metal Ghost rims. The entire interior and the body kit are all custom designed by Tjaarda. It was Charlie Ogega's car.
