Chris Morgan is a American screen and comic book writer, best known for his work on the Universal Pictures franchise, The Fast and the Furious. He has been the franchise's screenwriter since the 2006 film, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.

Biography

Morgan's writing credits include the screenplays for The Fast and the Furious franchise, the 2004 film, Cellular, Wanted, and the Fox crime drama Gang Related.[2][3]

Morgan's production company, Chris Morgan Productions, launched a first look deal with Universal Pictures in 2011.[4] In 2013, Morgan launched a TV production company with a first look deal at the Fox Broadcasting Company[5]

Trivia

  • Morgan was spoofed in an item in The Onion where he was played by a five-year-old.[6]
