Can anyone be so generous and write or show me a good transcript of Fast Five!! I desperately need one for my wattpad book😖
To avoid calling it "maintenance," I'll call it "upgrades." I have a few notes about ways to update some of the overlooked areas of the wiki and wanted to bring them up with the community.
Orphaned pages. An orphaned page is one that does not have any links to itself on any other pages. This makes these pages hard to find unless you know exactly what you're looking for, but they'll never naturally turn up as one browses from page to page. The way to solve an orphaned page is to look at the page and consider which pages may find relevance to this one, then go to those pages and add links to the orphaned page where appropriate. You should try to do this on a few pages right away, but one is enough to get it going.
Uncategorized pages. These are pages that do not have any categories. Some readers use the categories to browse the wiki, so any page that does not show up in the categories will not be found. Adding all relevant categories to these pages will solve this. You can also use the category tree linked below to see which categories are available to make this easier. In general, you should add existing categories rather than creating new ones, though, just because a category hasn't been created yet doesn't mean it shouldn't be.
Category tree. The category tree sprouts out in all directions right from the beginning. This is something that can be cleaned up for easier browsing by grouping categories into more unified master categories. For example, each movie has a category for the cars that appear in that movie. These are grouped into the Cars category, which is great, but they're also all in the Browse category, which makes browsing difficult, as Browse is just one big list of everything. If Browse led to Franchise Content led to Cars led to the movie-specific categories, this would be a much cleaner flow that would allow readers to focus on their interests as opposed to being given everything all at once. Here's an example from one of my home wikis to compare what it feels like to browse between the two wikis. This could probably be a bigger discussion as opposed to something a single editor could simply go in and do what they think feels right.
Unclassified templates. Unfortunately, there isn't a special page that lists these. Template classification helps the mobile experience, so when editing on a desktop device, it's easy to overlook. Each template has a "Template type" button right under the page title, and ideally, each template should have the appropriate classification added. If you ever see any that are unclassified, do feel free to add the proper classification!
If you're looking for something to edit, these are areas that could use some work!
Yes they’re both do!
Nah they have a lot of differences

Hi, everyone!
Fandom is currently celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, and I'm very excited to share a few things that are going on. Keep reading to find out more!
The Hispanic Heritage Month is currently an observance period in the United States for recognizing the contributions and influence of the Hispanic Americans to their history, culture and achievements.
Our celebration is from September 15 to October 15, and Fandom is extending the initiative to include all Hispanic people, people with Hispanic ancestors, or simply anyone with some relation with the Hispanic culture over the world.
To find out more about all of this, make sure to check out this blog post with more information. (And make sure to comment there if you want to get involved!)
As to how this relates to The Fast and the Furious Wiki - our very own Letty Ortiz some of the content of the wiki has been featured among the Hispanic characters in the above blog, and we know there are many more in the franchise as well.
Those pages may get bump in views, so if you're willing to contribute to them in some way, please do! Hispanic content is being edited across various other wikis - it's all part of the celebration :)
For those of you wanting to chat and coordinate efforts around this, we also have a Discord server specific for this - you can use this invite link to enter.
(As a final note, Fandom is also organizing a video roundtable at some point before Oct 15th. If you're interested in participating or observing, join the Discord server linked above for the most up-to-date details on when and where this might be taking place - or message me for more info!)

Why do they hate each other after Furious 7? These two barely share any scenes together in the Fate of the Furious film.
(Edited by Ghost101330)
Because I haven’t heard any new that they stream F9 on HBO Max the same day it release in Theaters?
Because it would be a great crossover and Micheal Bay better be a Producer and not a Director.
Fast & Furious 9 has officially wrapped production. Which means we'll soon be getting Teasers and Trailers before it releases in May 2020.

For the sake of organization, infoboxes that contain more than three lines of information were and have been placed under a organizational template called {{Template:Expand}} an html code that keeps Infoboxes from becoming overly long to the point of eating up the article space.
This is what it looks like when you expand it:
And this is what it looks like when you collapse it:
This is the template in action:
There
Lies
Dominic
Toretto's
Character
In
The
Grave
May
He
Rest
In
Peace
And this is the code:
{{Expand|There|Lies|Dominic|Toretto's|Character|In|The|Grave|May|He|Rest|In|Peace}}
However, there are still people who use the <nowik>< br ></nowiki> html code, which simply breaks up information in infoboxes so that is appears to come down in a line instead of sentence, often separated with commas. The infobox lengthens or shortens depending on the how much information is placed in the infobox, but is not collapsible and appears like the image below (or longer):
The Expand template is often only used when information in an infobox becomes over long. Information that never goes beyond two or three lines needn't use the expand template.
If a character has five or six relatives, then I'm inclined to believe the Expand/Collapse template can be used. Murali9395 thinks it's not necessary in that case since it's not as long as other text can become depending on the character in question, which is where we disagree.
ADDENDUM: There's also the matter of whether or not how characters are referred to within the infobox. For the longest time characters with familial connections and current narrative status have been referred to as "[NAME] (father)" or "NAME (father, deceased)". On the Brian Marcos article, Murali9395 chose to use this style when referring to Elena Neves: "Elena Neves ✝ (mother)" in an effort to save space in the infobox.
The general gist is this: Neither of us can agree on the preferred method of use. So we're asking you: Which is it the community would prefer to keep in order to keep the infoboxes organized based on the length of the text examples provided. You have until May 20th, 2017 to vote on the poll. Until whatever's been modified won't be touched until one or the other options has the most votes.
Expand or BR code?
and
Cross or written Status?
You can also comment in the forum if you want to be more expressive about which method you prefer as well.

To the admin of the page who always edit Brian O'Conner his birthday in the film is August 29 1973 not July 14 1978

Lately, I've been noticing a increase of page creation. However, the grand majority of articles being made are largely stubs or incomplete pages with information copy/pasted from general car website. As important as it is to maintain a steady page count, the The Fast and the Furious Wiki at the moment is not in place wherein it has either enough contributors or volunteers to proactively fix the articles stubs being created.
What's important right now is reconstruction of the wiki by way of fixing the articles that exist now as per the guidelines. Otherwise we're making a bigger mess than we and its visitors can actually handle.

Presently, the The Fast and the Furious Wiki is in a state of chaos. The articles formatted her all need to be reworked and extended for an easier consumption. In the future, when editing articles, follow the Article Conventions that have been established since it's recent adoption.
When adding infoboxes for Characters and Cars, go directly to the template source and copy the preview html and add to the article. Also, do not remove the Cleanup template when it has been placed onto the article, for it means the article has been to repaired to meet the wiki's standards.
Not doing so is just compounding the problem that's currently in the process of being remedied.
- If the major character articles do not reflect the state of the Brian O'Conner article, then it is not up to snuff and needs to be improved.
- If a car article does not reflect the state of the 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, then it is not up to snuff and needs to be improved.
- If a minor character article does not reflect the state of the Riley Hicks or Jack article, it is not up to snuff and needs to be improved.
- If a supporting character article does not reflect the state of the Owen Shaw or Ramsey article, it is not up to snuff and needs to be improved.
- If an album article does not reflect the state of the Furious 7 (Soundtrack) it is not up to snuff and needs to be improved.
- If a location article does not reflect the state of Tokyo is it not up to snuff and needs to be improved.
So on and so forth.
UPDATE: As of July 5, 2016, if the articles created do not meet the convention criteria, they will be deleted. Do no create articles for any of the above in the original post unless is it markedly following the article conventions established, thank you.
